Susan Lenart Kazmer's New Jewelry Making Book

Now this should be interesting! I've taken a couple of classes with Susan, as a rank newbie to metals, and they were awesome and I still use what I learned from her -- cold joins, layering, wire tricks. In fact...I'm looking forward to Bead Expo Santa Fe in 2009 where hopefully she'll be teaching.

Anyhoo, her new book is out. I didn't find it on Amazon (yet?) but you can read about it on her website:

"Making Connections includes nine different chapters using appropriate cold joins used for connecting metal and mixed media. Beyond the traditional rivet, this book includes chapters featuring fiber related attachments such as stitching, weaving and crochet, as well as chapters on trapeze attachments for objects that require swing and movement."

NOTE: You can click this link to order the book from Susan's website store. PLUS, there's a really cool 4-page PDF preview (click the book image next to the item description).
